Take benefit of your Intelligence Star

Academic mentors are those invaluable individuals armed not with financial backing but with their wealth of experience and knowledge, propelling you towards personal growth and fulfilling your dreams. In life, to thrive and prosper, one must possess both knowledge and practical experience.

Contrary to popular belief, the Intelligence Star in Ba Zi astrology doesn't merely reflect a person's IQ. Rather, it embodies a profound reservoir of knowledge, a knack for rapid learning, the ability to comprehend intricate information, and, most importantly, the skill to transform this knowledge into tangible gains or benefits. When analyzing a Destiny Chart, individuals seek out the Intelligence Star, particularly within the Luck Pillars. Its presence here signals opportunities to monetize acquired knowledge or to embark on a learning journey tailored to one's aspirations. In this case, the Intelligence Star is represented by an animal, which you can find on your Profile Analysis page.

Each animal on the Luo Pan corresponds to a specific sector in your home. This sector is your Intelligence Star area, the ideal spot for studying and learning to achieve the best results. On the Feng Shui page, these sectors are calculated for all residents of the house, so everyone knows their most favorable place for learning and other academic activities.

This sector is most easily activated when you study, learn, or work in it. Even sleeping there activates it, but not as effectively.

Conducting Your Feng Shui Analysis

Every Feng Shui journey begins right at home, where you take a good look at your surroundings and how your home is positioned. You'll want to know which direction it faces magnetically and when it was first built or last renovated. Don't worry, though; it's easier than it sounds! Just follow the simple instructions laid out in our articles: Quickly Calculate Your Home's Feng Shui and Examine Your Surroundings: Essential Feng Shui Start. Understanding the external Forms of your home is crucial because without considering the Forms, the stars are nothing more than numbers on a map. Lastly, remember that time is crucial in Feng Shui. To ensure that furniture rearrangements, home renovations, or applying any Feng Shui remedies are effective, choosing the most suitable moments for these changes is essential. Please refer to the article Feng Shui Harmony: Perfect Timing for Renovations & Remedies.

Once you’ve got the magnetic direction and construction details sorted, BaZi Advisor is all set to dive into your Feng Shui analysis. Everything you need is clearly laid out on the Feng Shui page. If it feels overwhelming, especially if you’re new to Feng Shui, don’t worry! We’ll guide you through each step, showing you how to use this information to enhance your health and well-being.

Let’s explore two powerful methods for analyzing buildings and finding remedies:

Ba Zhai - 8 Palaces Analysis: This method divides your building into nine sectors, or Palaces, each linked to an element. By understanding the energy flow in your home, you can pinpoint favorable and unfavorable areas. The remedies suggested here have long-lasting effects, often over a year. Even without prior Feng Shui knowledge, you can easily apply these remedies and see the results over time.

Flying Stars Analysis: Unlike Ba Zhai, Flying Stars deliver quicker results, typically within a few months, though they may need periodic revisits and adjustments. The arrangement of Flying Stars is influenced by cosmic energy changes. Major events like roof changes or significant renovations can alter the Building Year, impacting your home’s Feng Shui dynamics. If you’re dissatisfied with the Flying Stars arrangement, consider changing the Building Year. This significant step can transform your living space and life.

Ba Zhai Analysis for Personal Growth

Ba Zhai’s long-term effects make it ideal for sustained improvements over the years. You can view the analysis and suggested remedies by pressing the “see Ba Zhai details” button in each sector’s panel header. Even if you don’t “believe in Feng Shui,” applying these remedies can bring noticeable results over time.

Positive directions can counteract negative locations, neutralizing negativity. Negative sectors, therefore, are preferable to missing ones. These helpful directions are indicated when you press the ‘See Details’ button for each unfavorable palace (red).

BaZi Advisor presents your home’s Bagua, highlighting favorable sectors in green and unfavorable ones in red. Each sector shows the Base Star, Mountain Star, Water Star, and three Temporary Stars: Annual, Monthly, and Daily. The background color reflects the sector’s fundamental element according to the Later Heaven Bagua.

In the example above, the sector corresponding to the F4 direction is W. By clicking on this sector and then on the button "F4 - see Ba Zhai details," you can access all the information about this sector, just like in the example below.

If the sector is missing from your home or irreversibly affected by Sha Qi, it can have various effects on everyone in the house. These effects may include feeling low on energy and struggling to cope, experiencing depression and anxiety, and a decrease in the mental and energetic protection for those living or working in the house.

Flying Stars Analysis for Personal Growth

Generally, the nine Flying Stars are divided into three categories: good, bad, and neutral. The good stars include 1-White, 6-White, 8-White, and 9-Purple. The bad stars are 2-Black, 3-Jade, 5-Yellow, and 7-Red. The 4-Green star is considered neutral.

Out of the 9 Flying Stars, when we're focused on Personal Development, the most important stars are 1, 4, and 6, which we'll remind you of here.

  • Star 1 - Greedy Wolf: The Star of Wisdom and Reputation.
Symbolizes wisdom, reputation, and entrepreneurial spirit. Associated with the Water element.
  • Star 4 - Academic Star: The Star of Learning and Beauty.
Enhances academic performance, creativity, and beauty. Associated with the wood element.
  • Star 6 - Military Arts: Star of Leadership and Career.
Promotes leadership, career advancements, and health. Associated with the Metal element.

Four magical star combinations can lead to remarkable academic achievements. These are 1-4, 4-1, 1-6, and 6-1.

Basically, individuals studying under the influence of these combinations can be seen as winners.

Combinations 1-4 and 4-1 are considered best for wisdom and academic results, they facilitate learning, and getting skills, while 1-6 and 6-1 are specific to those aiming for success in both sports and academics.

Because of their remarkable effects, it's worth searching for these combinations in your home. If you find them as the Mountain Star and Water Star, it would be a shame not to take advantage of the opportunities they offer, as long as you're willing to work on personal growth and continue improving. These combinations are effective even when somewhat hidden, meaning they can form including the Base Star, or even the corresponding potential star according to the Later Heaven Bagua.

I don't think I need to remind you that Feng Shui is just an aid in your efforts and by no means replaces intensive study and serious work. Feng Shui is definitely not for the lazy. However, suppose you're willing to put in the effort to achieve your goals. In that case, Feng Shui will certainly be a faithful assistant, helping with ease of learning, understanding, memorization, and effective communication.

It's important to find out in which sectors stars 1 and 4 manifest themselves in the current year and, depending on the combinations they form if they are among the ones mentioned above, make every effort for you or your children to study in that sector during this year.

Personal Assistant Star (fu wei) direction

Using a person's Kua number, eight personal directions are calculated, including four favorable and four unfavorable ones.

When we want to focus on learning, studying, or personal development, we look for the Assistant Star (fu wei) direction. It's perfect for activities like learning, studying, reading, and maintaining mental health. It's also great for relaxing, providing a sense of quiet, calm, relaxation, peace, and even meditation or trance-like states.

If you're learning something new or preparing for an exam, it's beneficial to face this direction, whether you're at your desk or sitting on a chair. In fact, it's the ideal direction to face when you're in a library, surrounded by books and knowledge.

The fu wei direction (or F4) is calculated for all residents in the chosen group, along with their favorable and unfavorable directions. They should remember these directions to use them effectively.

Your Life Star

Another relatively important aspect to mention when it comes to personal development is how you can identify the areas where studying could help you the most. For this, you need to track where your Life Star is located. BaZi Advisor shows it to you for all residents of the house, as shown in the image below.

The stars in this sector give you hints about hobbies that would suit you as well as areas of activity in which, if you improve, you can excel most easily. When you click on the "LS" button, these results are presented to you as above.
