Unlocking the Secrets of Feng Shui: Your Quickstart Guide to Success

One of the core tenets of Traditional Feng Shui emphasizes the prioritization of external factors over internal ones, underscoring that Forms take precedence over Formulas.

Forms encompass the external aspects of a structure, including natural and man-made elements such as buildings, trees, roads, bodies of water, and terrain features. Before any Formulas are applied, careful consideration of these external forms, known as Luan Tou, is essential. This involves a thorough analysis of their shapes and influences.

Formulas, or Li Qi, constitute the methodologies employed in Feng Shui practice, namely the Eight Palaces method or the Flying Stars method. These approaches require intricate calculations and profound analysis to detect potential issues and devise appropriate solutions.

The principle dictates that Luan Tou must precede Li Qi, meaning that one should always assess the external environment before delving into interior analysis. Moreover, the primary objective during this process is to mitigate any negative energies or Sha Qi, that could adversely affect the structure.

In the following section, there are a series of Tips and Tricks that will particularly assist you in conducting Forms Analysis accurately and applying some remedies before implementing Formulas.
